So, use an Emacs client for your MUD sessions. Edit locally and send the
file to MUD by some simple keystrokes.
Or get the modified ftpd from nanny.lysator.liu.se (130.236.254.13) that
lets mud wizards login as "mud:wizard" and "put" and "get" files.
There's plenty of options.
