    I have modified the yank-cur-msg function in the mh-e package to
    do paragraph filling for me....  Everything works the same, but if
    the variable is non-nil the quoted text will be paragraph filled
    before the quote-prefix is added to it.

The current version of mh-e (available from primost.cs.wisc.edu) has a
hook, mh-yank-hooks, that you can set to run functions easily on the
yanked text.  The default adds the prefix, so you just need to cons
'fill-individual-paragraphs on the front.
