The GNU Emacs calendar/diary package has been revised. Aside from fixing all
known bugs, the major changes are

    1. An extensive collection of religious holidays is available by setting
       some flags.

    2. Any Emacs-Lisp sexp can now be used to describe dates in the diary
file; this feature is enormously powerful.

To have the new code sent to you automatically, send me (reingold@cs.uiuc.edu)
email with the subject field "send-emacs-cal" (no quotes). It is wise to
include your full Internet address in the body of the message so that in case
the autoreply fails to extract the correct address, I can send the files
manually.

To receive a HARDCOPY of a paper describing the calendrical calculations, send
me an email message with the subject field "send-paper-cal" and INCLUDE YOUR
POSTAL MAILING ADDRESS (SNAIL) IN THE CONTENTS OF THE MESSAGE.
