Short version: Deliver is a mail delivery program, also known as a Mail Transfer Agent (MTA). It is controlled, not by fixed-format configuration files, but by shell scripts (called "delivery files") that are executed during message delivery. It's quite portable; I've received reports from users on System V, BSD, HP-UX, Xenix/286, Xenix/386, V7 (!), and Coherent (!!). The current version is 2.0 patchlevel 12. However, I still haven't updated the archive servers mentioned below. So if you need patches, especially patch 12, just send me mail and they're yours. **FTP: Get Deliver 2.0 PL11 by anonymous FTP from tut.cis.ohio-state.edu.
