anyone have any experiences w/ the toyota MR2 (i know its not been out
long!), the VW convertible (i believe it is called a cabriolet (?)) or
a VW GTI?

I've also just driven the new GTI, and it seems even better, with more room, nicer equipment, etc. If it is as reliable as my GTI, I'd say "Go for it" Alas, I can't afford to...
