Brief overviews of Icon can be ftp'd from a number of sites, the best being cs.arizona.edu. Cd to icon/ and grab "technical" report 90-1, 90-2, 90-6. Don't expect Icon to fill perl's shoes. It's not a good system administra- tion language. It occupies a different niche. -Richard
