The first rule of the road isn't obedience to the law -- it's courtesy.
Speeding is sometimes dangerous, and so is going too slow; but it's
_always_ dangerous to thwart other drivers.  If you need to engage
in contests of will, take up chess.  By becoming a policeman you only
debase yourself.
