"Get out of my way or we'll both die" (no smiley), eh? I'm > surprised this one knows how to work the pedals on the floor. :-) > What a moron! Why did you even bother to write this? You must've known that you would be flamed on pretty badly, or is that what you were trying for?? Not only am I surprised that YOU know how to work the pedals on the floor (if indeed you do), I'm surprised that your brain has enough oomph to keep your autonomous functions going. Did you ever consider what a safety hazard you are creating by doing 55 in the left lane? Granted, it's against the law to go faster, but PLEASE realize that you do not exist in your own reality, but rather one shared by all of us. The average speed on many roads (e.g. NJ Turnpike, Garden State Parkway) is often AT LEAST 70 mph. Like it or not, that's the way it is; you can not change it, nor do you have ANY RIGHT AT ALL to attempt to change it at the expense of my safety and yours. "Self-righteous crap, you say?" Well, true enough, although I would prefer to word it a little differently. Asshole. Dan Masi *The opinions expressed herein are my own*

<> I've been reading this discussion for awhile now, and one point I don't think has been mentioned is: I keep seeing these signs on the (left) side of the road saying: KEEP RIGHT EXCEPT TO PASS. Further, I believe driving manuals in New York and New Jersey (and surely others) state the same thing. It seems to the that when you sit in the left lane holding up traffic you are not doing so legally. Think about it. Pete Smith

I would appreciate it greatly if you two would use the mail to continue your conversation. If you like to insult each other, that's fine, but I don't want to read it. Also, your conversation is taking up a lot of space while accomplishing nothing. Rick
