This is a periodical (monthly) posting to announce the availability
of CAPITAL, a Civil Air Patrol electronic newsletter published on
a more or less weekly basis.

The Civil Air Patrol is an auxiliary of the United States Air
Force, that provides emergency services (including search and
rescue missions for downed aircraft), aerospace education, and a
cadet program.  As part of its operations, the Civil Air Patrol
operates a radio communications network.

If you are interested in receiving this newsletter, please send
your name and InterNet address to aviator@athena.mit.edu.  If you
are a current CAP member, please include grade, squadron, charter
number, and callsign.  Submissions will also be accepted at this
address.

The most recent issue of CAPITAL is Volume 2, Number 1.

If you have asked to receive CAPITAL previously, but are not 
receiving it, chances are there is a problem with your path.  Please
send another request, indicating that it is your second request.

Back issues are available via anonymous ftp (login "anonymous") at
rascal.ics.utexas.edu [128.83.183.20] in the following form:

/explore-me/av/capital-folder/capital.NN

where NN is the issue number.
