Original-subject: Patchlevels 7 and 8 for Dirt UI Builder available on expo for ftp
Reposted-by: emv@ox.com (Edward Vielmetti)
I have placed the latest patches (patchlevels 7 and 8) to my Dirt UI Builder
on expo.lcs.mit.edu for anon ftp under:
contrib/dirt.patchA1.7.Z
contrib/dirt.patchA1.8.Z
These patches fix:
Patchlevel 7
Fixes a bug introduced by an enhancement to NewResourceValue() (in
dirt_editor/resources.c) that happened at patchlevel 4 (thanks to Ralf
Scheidhauer for tripping over this one 8-). Also fixes a bug when removing
editing callbacks from certain dying widgets.
Patchlevel 8
Fixed a bug in the translations table of the UKCToggle Widget.
Various fixes to bugs found by users:
Non-portable use of sprintf and ability to cut from Error Widget
- Dan Connolly
Split adding converters in to smaller routines to stop breaking some
compilers.
- Rod Whitby
Changes to dirt's user interface to make it work better under the Motif
window manager. All transientShells were replaced with ApplicationShells.
- Niels Mayer
Bug in error handling in create.c
- Avinash Chopde
I am also distributing patches on the "dirt-users" mailing list for those who
cannot get access to expo. To be placed on this list please send mail to:
dirt-users-request@ukc.ac.uk
The full dirt distribution is avaiable on expo.lcs.mit.edu and also on
ftp.Adelaide.EDU.AU (129.127.40.3) under /pub/X/R4/contrib/dirt.*
If anybody who updates the sources on uunet.uu.net is reading this could you
please update or remove the copy of the dirt distribution under
/X/contrib/dirt.tar.Z (the latest version is /contrib/dirt.A1.7.tar.Z on
expo.lcs.mit.edu) as this is very old and I cannot update this myself,
thanks!
