Get xgraph from shambhala.Berkeley.EDU. It a 2-D drawing program
under X11, with options for HPGL and postscript output.

Better yet, if you have XView,  get Paul Turners port of grtool (xvgr).
It is in pub/grtool on ese3.ese.ogi.edu.
