You can anonymous ftp a version off bu.edu in src/netutil/adams-ftp.
I made a small to change to use a different syslog facility for just
ftp logging, change openlog("ftpd",LOG_PID,LOG_DAEMON) to 
openlog("ftpd",LOG_PID,LOG_LOCAL0), and put "local0.info /var/log/ftp"
in /etc/syslog.conf.
