Strip out the files realmat.h, realmat.cc, usual.h, tools.h, dcond.cc, and dsweep.cc. That set of files is a matrix class. nlmdl is a program to fit nonlinear statistical models built upon the matrix class realmat. It will give you some examples of the use of the matrix class.
