This version has the following features: o DirectColor support The server can be configured not only as TrueColor but also as DirectColor. You can run "ico -p8" and/or xfade on a DirectColor server. o Speed up If the server is compiled on a CG9 machine, it will use pixrect code in some routines. This accelerates window copying, filling, and tiling a lot (about 2 - 3 times faster.) Even on a CG8 machine, the new server is about 20% faster in those operations.
