dawson@maverick.epps.kodak.com (Keith Dawson) (02/08/91)

Archive-name: tv/twin-peaks/twin-peaks-resources/1991-02-06
Original-posting-by: dawson@maverick.epps.kodak.com (Keith Dawson)
Original-subject: Cribsheet to TP resources
Reposted-by: emv@ox.com (Edward Vielmetti)

Here are two lists:

  - the names and net addresses of those who maintain and publish to
alt.tv.twin-peaks various compilations and lists of TP factoids,
    useful to the truly obsessed

  - a guide to other TP goodies, available outside this newsgroup, the
existence of which has been posted here

Please send me any corrections or additions.

Any volunteers to set up an anonymous FTP site for these puppies?

[19mar91] Here are three lists:

  - (S) the addresses of ABC, the Twin Peaks production company, and others
to whom you can write in an effort to save TP from cancellation

  - (L) the names and net addresses of those who maintain and publish to
alt.tv.twin-peaks various compilations and lists of TP factoids,
    useful to the truly obsessed

  - (R) a guide to other TP goodies, available outside this newsgroup, the
existence of which has been posted here

Changes and new listings are marked by #. Please send me any corrections
or additions.

There is now an anonymous FTP site for much of the material in list (L),
and some of the material in list (R), thanks to Peter Asenstorfer
#(peter@audrey.sait.edu.au) at the University of Sourh Australia. The site is:

# audrey.sait.edu.au [130.220.16.88] directory /pub/twin-peaks

Items currently in this archive are marked below by "ftp" in the margin.

Save TP Resources
==================

The following addresses, phone numbers, and other resources will prove useful
to those who want to write letters or otherwise express their opinions on
the hiatus / impending cancellation of TP.

NOTE: I have no opinion on whether a calm, rational letter works better than
an angry, threatening letter. I have no opinion on whether or not you should
write to the Fox Network, Lifetime, HBO, or the Marmot Channel. Some say you
should stress your demographics and/or consumer preferences, or write to
sponsors. Let everyone follow his/her own conscience.

Lynch and Frost support (indeed, request) a letter-writing campaign. Write
to Robert Iger (see S1); a fax number is provided.
