Several people on this newsgroup asked for my implementation of lpr
that allows SCO UNIX systems to print to printers on BSDish UNIX
machines (like SunOS and Ultrix).

I cleaned it up a bit, wrote a man page, and packaged it up, and made it
available for anonymous ftp from CS.UTK.EDU (128.169.201.1), directory
~/readonly, file port-lpr.tar.Z .

Be aware that this program requires an ANSI C compiler (or one that
supports function prototypes) in order to compile without modification.
