I didn't think that Formula 1 ever had such large engines. Was this
a "cut it in half and call it a slant-four" project?

I haven't seen any discussion of rallying in this group. As a former
ardent competitor in the UK, I'd be interested to read about the US
rallying scene. I believe that the nearest equivalent to European
"Stage Rallying" is Pro-rallying.
