Original-subject: ELLE (small Emacs-like editor)
Reposted-by: emv@msen.com (Edward Vielmetti, MSEN)
Some time ago I mentioned Ken Harrenstien's ELLE editor ("Elle Looks
Like Emacs"), a small Emacs subset that can run in a non-I+D-separated
PDP-11, and I got a flood of mail asking where people could get copies.
Unfortunately, I no longer had a copy around and had lost track of
the ftp site. But I have finally tracked it down, in the list of
Emacs implementations maintained by Craig Finseth that was recently
posted in comp.editors, and here is the info for Elle:
name: Elle
version: 4.1g
implementation language: C
extension language: none
scope of implementation: command set
hardware/software requirements: UNIX, MINIX, TOPS-20, TOPS-10 (!)
organization/author:
