[] I am having an intermittent problem with my 1984 Honda Prelude that I have been unable to demonstrate in front of a mechanic. The car runs fine as long as it is in gear but as soon as I put it in neutral or push the clutch in it stalls. After I give it a little gas it starts right up again. This doesn't happen all the time. In fact 90% of the time the car runs perfectly. Once it stalls once, however, it continues to do so until I let it sit for a while. The longer I let it rest, the greater the time until it starts to stall again. This makes me think it may be somehow temperature dependent. If I let the car sit overnight, it is fine in the morning. Otherwise, the problem occurs at totally random times. It doesn't seem to be dependent on weather conditions, the type of unleaded gas used, the amount of gas in the gas, or whether I am moving or at a standstill. Does anyone have any suggestions?
