I recently replaced the rear shocks on my '83 Dodge 600 with Sears steady rider gas shocks. The car now seems to bounce more and I find it positively uncomfortable. A friend had advised me against Sears shocks, claiming that they are designed for less performancnce in order to provide longer life (lifetime guaranteed). I ignored the advice but it seems he may have been right. I'd appreciate any info concering the quality/safety of these shocks and would like to know what to buy instead. Also, do I have basis for a refund on the shocks/labor. Thanks, Arnold Samet
