Better yet, those sites out there with E-COM can send letters directly from
your terminal. It's the exact same amount of effort as posting to USENET
and, as Paul points out, it does a lot of good instead of just letting off
steam.

[this line wants to drive Formula One]

I heard an editorial on KTVU (Ch. 2, Oakland) about a bill to be introduced
in the state senate to outlaw enforcement of the 55. The bill's sponsor was
State Senator Jim Ellis of San Diego. Anyone know more about this?

Perhaps this could start a nationwide trend, ala Prop. 13. I'm hoping...
