Hi! I could use some tips about cleaning my engine area. I have an old VW Super Beetle whose previous owner doesn't seem to have been too particular about where the oil went. I'd like to clean it up, and I've got some engine cleaner which I've used successfully on my motorcycle, BUT . . . I'm a little nervous. It seems ok for my motorcycle, whose engine is expected to get wet, but what happens when I hose down the engine compartment of my car? I figure it probably has a hood for a good reason.
