Probably coz you weren't looking for the right files: export.lcs.mit.edu:/contrib/apollo_doc_csm_spec.tar.Z apollo_tmlib_* If memory serves me correctly (usually not 8-), the TMLib was released for the Apollos. I don't know if anyone else has tried porting it to other systems, and I personally haven't even touched it, but it's there. I downloaded it, changed a VERY few things, and it built like a dream on a convex. Plus there's a file that says: We maintain an updated public archive of the base TMLib product and the CSM on a machine at MIT. These archives are available through anonymous ftp at expo@lcs.mit.edu internet address: 18.30.0.212 So what's the deal? What are the copyright restrictions? Dan p.s.
