I queried archie and found out where these beasts are available.... NOTE: teltool (not teletool) and crttool only work with SunView. Here is some more info on vttool: It really consists of three programs vtem - a vt102 termcap-based vt100 emulator. Works on any terminal. vttool - a SunView tool layered over vtem xvttool - an XView tool layered over vtem. You can wrap vttool/xvttool over any tty program. It provides two functions: 1) It adds a panel to the right (or left) side of the tty window. This panel has mouse-clickable buttons for function keys. 2) It does keyboard remapping - more or less. (You can redefine function keys to send out special sequences. Even remap the Delete key on a per-window basis. Some versions of the libraries and type 4 keyboards don't work in an obvious manner. I wish I understood why so I could fix the code for all combinations. I have used vttool/xvttool to add buttons to a tn3270 emulator like tn3270. I released an older version of vttool (1.8) on the SUG tapes. The current version of vttool is 1.15. (1.14 is the same - more or less). The new features over 1.8 are keyboard mapping and the ability to change the mouse panel buttons on the fly. Xvttool doesn't yet support multiple button configuration files.
