~ First: is there a news group for the old muscle cars?? Second: have gotten rid of practical cars nad 'bought an '69 vette. (it was a deal I couldn't refuse) stats: 4-speed, 3.08 posi, 427 tripower (400bhp) anyone know: parts where can I get them in the northeast? paint. any recommended body shops (also NE) idle. car won't idle below 1500. it will go around 1000 and then suddenly die. any and all help most appreciated.

As for parts, start by going to your local news stand and get a copy of Hemming's Motor News. This monthly magazine is invaluable to anyone who is trying to maintain just about any car, but in particular specialty cars and cars over 10-15 years old. -Ken Finney-
