Over the past weekend I have integrated the pop2 server that Kelvin Hill has been using into the 0423 release of NOS. An executable "popnet.exe", and the updated source files pop0423.zip will be placed in the pub/ka9q/incoming directory on thumper.bellcore.com. The recent fixit for the kiss parameters submitted by Jay Maynard is also included in the kiss.c file. The most serious effort required to move to the 0423 version of NOS is to re-implement do_timer() using the new calls. The code is working nicely between my two PC's at home over ARCNET. The 0423 release is VERY stable thus far. -- Mark C.
