To make use of this (leaving out the computer's responses): ftp seismo.gps.caltech.edu login anonymous [your name] cd ~ftp/pub/ca.earthquakes Now you can use various ftp commands to find and take the data you want. When you are finished, quit It is unclear at the moment how much data will remain there for how long, since the .plt files and the full-length epicenter lists are quite long. It also depends on the popularity.
