Prentiss, Prentiss, how childish. Anti-semite indeed. What would you rather do, kill a lot of people or bruise their religious fervor for awhile. Do you understand what a jihad is? If you do not, I would suggest a good book to read, the Koran. Killing will not dissuade terrorist acts in the middle east. It only perpetuates the problem. Your little story about the pig's eadxhead, though certainly a dispicable and horrible act, has nothing to do with curtailing terrorism by religeous zelots. T. C. Wheeler

For the first time since I have been on the net, I agree with T.C.W and
disagree with Prentiss. (Did I actually say that?).
Muslim terrorists play on the fact that one of the clauses of the
"official american religion" is that an american life is the most sacred
thinng in the world (if you don't believe that, witness the current hysteria
about this little hyjacking). It is only fair that if the US want to attack
them back, they attack them using their religion too.
On the other hand, I don't see how this would work. Even if the terrorists
were covered with pig blood, this might not stop them from killing americans
anyway and the americans would be just as afraid to die.
Well, all this is pretty academic now anyway...

Normally reliable sources inform me that in Fort Braag, North Carolina,
swine are currently being trained to fight and perform parachute jumps.
In future crises in the Middle East this Hog Squad (or Pig Patrol -
reports differ) will be unleashed to root out the terrorists.

And the "current hysteria about this little hijacking" is entirely the creation of the American Media. If you lived in a place like India, for example, you would find that the crash of Air India flight made headlines for several days (weeks?) whereas the TWA hijacking received very little TV coverage (and that too as a filler when they didn't have any other news) Almost any country in the world regards it's own citizen as the most important people in the world (America is no exception). Exactly how much a life is worth depends on which part of the globe you live in.
