Karn) Original-subject: ARRL CNC papers available Reposted-by: emv@msen.com (Edward Vielmetti, MSEN) Several people have inquired about the paper I wrote on radio channel access algorithms for the "ARRL Computer Networking Conferences". Some also wondered what the "ARRL" is. The American Radio Relay League (ARRL) is the US national organization of amateur radio operators. Since 1981 it has sponsored an annual conference on amateur packet radio and computer networking; the next conference will be this fall in the SF Bay area. I believe that Kevin Rowett (maintainer of this list) is one of the local organizers this year. (Sorry, Kevin! :-) I have a partial collection of papers for past ARRL CNCs available for anonymous FTP on thumper.bellcore.com. The directory is /pub/ka9q/arrl. There's a subdirectory for each of several years. My MACA paper is in the 1990 subdirectory. Feel free to browse.
