Thanks to all of those who sent e-mail concerning my posting on boundary
integral methods.
I had asked about the ftp site referred to in "microhydrodynamics" by S.
Kim. It's doug.cae.wisc.edu and the directory is pub/microhydro.
There are several books by Brebbia et al on BEM which deal with
applications to various 1-d, 2-d and 3-d problems in potential theory,
solid mechanics (linear elasticity, plane stress, strain probs) and fluid
mechanics (Stokes flows, no inertia). Some of their books (eg. Boundary
elements , an introductory course by Brebbia and Dominguez published by
Mcgraw Hill) contain sample programs which are relatively easy
to follow.
