(freemacs, jove, microemacs, mg). Versions of jove for several popular machines can be grabbed from ftp.cs.toronto.edu via anonymous ftp, or from utai!~ftp/ by utai's uucp neighbours. See the list below. The only good mouse-based Unix editor I know of is "sam", and you have to pay money for that. Contact the AT&T Toolchest. ( +1 201 522 6900 for 2400 baud, +1 201 522 3363 for Telebit access) Otherwise, well... Without *some* way to communicate cursor and region control, it is pretty hard to do a reasonable editor. That means a mouse, control/meta/alt/hyper/super/esc keys or cursor keys.
