The updated version of the IBM-PC MS-DOS/Merit IRC client is now available
via anonymous FTP from freebie.engin.umich.edu, in /pub/irc/clients.

This program allows you to use your home PC and a modem to connect to
Michnet (nee Merit) and then to an IRC server, while your PC handles
all the user interface issues. This is an alternative to using IRC
raw, when you don't have easy access to an internet account.

This program is also available from The Magic Shop BBS, (616)349-9094,
and will soon be available from M-net, (313)994-6333, or um-m-net at
the Which host? prompt.
