The specification for IMAP is RFC-1176. There will be a follow-up RFC to define the extensions for the new Internet Message Bodies standard. The April '91 IMAP distribution is on FTPHOST.CAC.WASHINGTON.EDU (IP address 128.95.112.1) as imap/imap.tar.Z via anonymous FTP. A major new revision is in the works and will be released later this summer. -- MSEN Archive Service file verification ftphost.cac.washington.edu total 7171 -rw-r--r-- 1 104 134807 May 7 14:44 ncsa.tar.Z -rw-r--r-- 1 104 640073 Apr 23 19:01 imap.tar.Z -rwxr-xr-x 3 104 1759629 Apr 23 18:22 EasyMail2.0 -rwxr-xr-x 3 104 1744834 Apr 23 18:22 MailManager2.0 -rw-r--r-- 1 104 271633 Apr 17 22:16 ccmd.tar.Z lrwxr-xr-x 1 root 11 Mar 14 00:13 EasyMail -> EasyMail2.0 lrwxr-xr-x 1 root 14 Mar 14 00:13 MailManager -> MailManager2.0 -rwxr-xr-x 3 104 1354962 Mar 7 19:17 MailManager1.0 -rwxr-xr-x 3 104 1350293 Mar 7 19:16 EasyMail1.0 drwxr-xr-x 2 104 512 Aug 31 1990 MacMS found imap ok ftphost.cac.washington.edu:/imap/
