One of the sessions of the UnixExpo '88 Conference I attended was the Window System Toolkits seminar. I have a copies of the presentations, and I will make copies (for the cost of reproduction) available to those who would like them, provided that windowing systems is a popular topic for the next meeting. PLEASE let me know if you are interested in getting a copy, and if you will be attending the meeting. I will _not_ be making too many extra copies. Though the recent worm/virus attack is still a hot topic, I doubt that it requires much discussion at the meeting. It might be more relevant to continue our security discussion with further specific suggestions for enhanced UUCP security however. There are still many, many, systems in Toronto alone that are vunerable to attack through the very same medium that delivers this mail, and the countless USENET News articles to your machines. For those of you who have not followed discussion about the "worm attack" on USENET, I can provide a collection of various related articles. The file containing these articles is currently over 280 Kb. As for the final item on the UU meeting agenda, I'd rather we didn't trundle off to RPM. It was fun last time, but it wasn't quite something that I want to do every time. I'd suggest the ususal, i.e., the Greek restaurant, or Mother's (i.e., Father's), or Toby's. -- Greg Woods. {utgpu, lsuc!gate, ontmoh}!woods, woods@{gpu.utcs.Toronto.EDU,utorgpu.BITNET} 1-416-443-1734 [h], 1-416-595-5425 [w] LOCATION: Toronto, Ontario, Canada
