This is an early reminder about the October 25 meeting of Unix Unanimous, to be held at the North York Memorial Community Hall. As was discussed last month, this meeting will be a return to the 'round-table' format, where everyone is invited to bring their Unix-related questions or discussion topics. As some of you may know, our new meeting place has kitchen facilities. Is there an interest in making use of this facility - having the meeting catered rather than going out to eat afterwards? There are a number of restaurants nearby willing to prepare take-out food of many varieties, and I happen to know that the best Jewish deli this side of Montreal is less than a mile away :-) (and it has free delivery). It's my own thought that the meetings could go on a tad longer if everyone wasn't so damned hungry by 8:30. We do have the room until 11. Please reply by mail. If the response is good enough, I will make appropriate advance arrangements. Also - are there any objections to the cross-postings of meeting announcements (as opposed to food discussions) in ont.events? -- Evan Leibovitch, Sound Software, located in beautiful Brampton, Ontario evan@telly.on.ca / uunet!attcan!telly!evan Canada could have enjoyed: English government,French culture,American know-how; Instead we ended up with: English know-how,French government,American culture.

About the catered meal after the meeting: Go for it! If nothing else, it will be a pleasant change in format. Brian Brian Jarvis, brian@jtsv16
