Thanks to those who repsonded by e mail. In case anyone else was wondering, there is a chapter on BibTeX in the LaTeX manual. Now I have another question: I support a number of Plain TeX users, who for reasons I'd rather not go into, would prefer not to switch to LaTeX. Is there a (simple) bibliographic system for Plain TeX? -- Phil Etheridge (phil@waikato.ac.nz) Phax: +64 +71 384 155 Computer Services/Mathematics & Statistics Phone: +64 +71 568 299 x 8339 University of Waikato, Hamilton, NZ. I've done some work towards adapting BiBtex to AMSTeX. I've got a tentative BTX style file to write a AMSTeX bibliography and some macros which are likely to be superceeded or modified now that I know of btxmac.tex. I'd be interested in hearing of anyone who has already done this, and would be willing to email what I have to anyone who is iterested (not for a couple of weeks, though).
