I'm looking for a program which can calculate the phases of the moon, and the times for high and low tides. I'm no expert in this field and just hope that my location in the southern hemisphere doesn't pose a problem in using your "Northerners'" programs. Both functions do not necessarily have to be in the same program, although they are obviously related. Any language welcome. -- Michael Bednarek, Big River Ski Lodge Caravan Park, Seelands via // Grafton NSW 2460, Australia, Phone: +61 66 {44 9324 | 44 9200} \X/ u3369429@{murdu.oz.au | ucsvc.dn.mu.oz.au} | mb@munnari.oz.au "POST NO BILLS." I think it gets it right - anyway I'm sure there is a utility at least on some systems to tell you it.(xphoom??) >the times for high and low tides. On a more serious note, tides are not directly linked to the moon's phase - it is not difficult to find places with 2, 4, 6 and even 24 tides per day so you`ll need some software which is tailorable to your area. >my location in the southern hemisphere doesn't pose a problem in using your >"Northerners'" programs.
