[net.auto] Information on Triumphs

My family has owned two spitfires ( 1971 and  1976
models).   The  reliability  has been fair.  Parts
have been expensive and hard to find.   We  did  a
ring  job  on  the 1976 model.  It got botched be-
cause THE NEW RINGS WERE OUT OF TOLERANCE (so much
for  quality  control).  If the parts were cheaper
and easier to get I guess I wouldn't mind the car.
But its  use of natural rubber parts on its carbu-
retor and brakes messes up the reliability of the
car.
