Hello People, Please bear with me as I ask this probably (slightly) nieve question, Suppose: I have a i386/25, 8M RAM, 100MB Drive, VGA/1024, etc... Assume: I do not have SCO-Unix, AT&T-Unix, or any other derv. Question: I want to aquire the Mach Kernal for research interests. WHERE DO I START? I simply want to aquire the necessary tools on my own for research purposes. I assume that I will have to aquire a version of Unix for the machine. However, which do I choose and whom should I contact. Is this going to cost some major $$cash$$ for an individual to purchase the necessary tools. I state the machine attributes above based on the i386 installation manuals on wb1.cs.cmu.edu Should I contact MT-XINU? Thanks in advance for the time and responses, Robert Thompson
