In response to John Clark's post, it is my understanding that anyone who wishes to restribute binary versions Unix derived code must buy a restritibution license from AT&T (for a significant sum of money) and then pay some royality for each system delivered. This would apply to any code based on Mach 2.5 code. This is the reason that CMU does not distribute binary only versions of Mach. We do not have such a license. Mt Xinu is properly licensed and is currently distributing binary version of Mach 2.5 for i386 machines.
