Hello Mach-fans, At the moment we are studying the source code of the Mach virtual memory management system. What we try to figure out is the use of shadow and copy objects. The only article on this subject we have is 'Architecture-independent Virtual Memory Management for Parallel and Distributed environments: The Mach Approach' from A. Tevanian. If someone has information about the design and/or implementation of the VMS please let us know.
