[net.auto] General Purpose Roof Rack

Any hints on where to buy a general purpose roof rack at a
reasonable price? I've seen the Thule rack, which has two
bars and an assortment of options, such as a horizontal or
vertical ski rack, with or without locks, a bicycle rack,
a luggage rack, small boat rack, etc. The Thule with just
a lockable ski rack is about $100.

I own a thule rack which I use for my Sailboard. The rack was
about $50 and the attachments vary. I bought the sailboard
attachment which was about $40. I think it's a great system
and it has saved me a lot of time and it's worth whatever it
costs when you think about what the value is of what you're
transporting and the time you save with an efficient system
