Ok, im a bit confused here.....I read that there is a Motorola chip in the NeXT that can act as the brains of a 9600bps modem. Does this mean that all that is necessary is a phone line? If not, it becomes appartent that software is going to be needed in order to run the modem, now, how will we run that software if it does not exist, and must be in laserdisc format in order to be used? I doubt that software manufacturers are going to sell their stuff on 256 megabyte disks... Or, does the NeXT have a 3.5 disk? 5.25? =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- avalon@ssyx.ucsc.edu ARPA/Internet \ ucbvax!ucscc!ucscb!avalon UUCP > Me! avalon@ucsck.BITNET Bitnet / "You will get a much better idea of how it works if you just PLAY with it." -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
