*** Since moving here to Colorado, I have wondered about the license plates here. In case you aren't familiar, it is white on green, with a sillouette of mountains. My question is: is it a recognizable mountain range, or just generic bumps? (I'm giving this a 'na' distribution as someone outside the state may know, or may also be curious.) Thanks much. -- {ucbvax!hplabs | allegra!nbires | decvax!noao | harpo!seismo | ihnp4!noao} !hao!woods CSNET: woods@NCAR ARPA: woods%ncar@CSNET-RELAY "Comes a time, when a blind man takes your hand, says don't you see..."

You must really be froum out of town. Those green peaks aren't mountains. The guy who designed the plates was born in Jersey City and wanted to design something that would remind him of home. Those spikes represent the potholes on the Pulawski Skyway.... Cheerfully yours, Howard G. Page ..!ihnp4!houem!hgp
