This is just a big thank you to Steve Dorner (dorner@garcon.cso.uiuc.edu) for t
he sed script he posted here yesterday. It allows me to print mac stuff (so far
WriteNow, using both Times and various bitmapped exotic fonts, Macpaint and Ma
cDraw) on my NeXT's laser printer,something I was beginning to despair of ever
being able to do.
The only problem now (and this is NOT a complaint) is that "smoothing" doesn
't seem to work, i.e., the bitmapped stuff is dotty even though in the page set
up all the smoothing options were selected on the mac. If anyone knows how to g
et around this, it would be great, but meanwhile, Thanks again to Steve.
