Does anyone have any idea how difficult it would be to hook up, say, a vt100 to a NeXt machine for a second user? I am interested in the possibility of using a cube as psychology experiment workstation, where the subject would sit at the actual NeXt terminal and I would be monitoring the activity from a vt100 (or IBM-PC, or whatever) in another location. Thanks in advance, Greg Sandell

Not too difficult at all. Right now I have a Mac Plus hooked in to serial port B and a dial-in on port A. For a terminal right now, all you have to do is change the getty entry. If you want to use an Amiga, Atari ST or Mac for a terminal, I recommend UW (a.k.a. unix windows) it works great and compiles without modification. -- Chris Whatley | "fish.. plate... !bigtex!nueces!chari@cs.utexas.edu | plate of fish..." 1607 Nueces,Austin TX 78723 - 512/453-4238 |
