I think it is about time to tone all of the traffic about whether or not the next machine is as good as (fill in your favorite). I was really hoping that this newsgroup would be filled with interesting facts and tidbits about the cube for people who actually have them or people who are actually interested in having them and not with a bunch of discussions about whether a machine needs X windows or emacs to qualify as a workstation. Grow up. NeXT has accomplished an outrageously nifty product and it is only the first pass! Who knows what they will come up with when they get a chance to sit back and think for a while... I'm sure that faster processors figure in there somewhere. In the meantime keep in mind that the NeXT cube is their version of the MAC-128K. Just wait for the NeXT-II if it isn't enough for you and quit putting so much junk in my face to wade through... Mail your flames. I don't mind deleting them...
