We have been quoted a fairly good price by a local distributor of Imprimis (CDC) Wren disk drives for a SCSI Wren VI (776 Mb. unformatted, formats down to about 650 Mb.). We are thinking of using a couple of them as internal disks in NeXT computers but would like some assurance that we will be able to format them successfully. Has anyone used them in NeXT's? What information would we need on the geometry of the disk to be able to format them? What steps do we go through to do the format and build file systems? (I tried looking through the manuals with Digital Librarian but didn't meet with much success.)
