I know this is supposed to be easy buy I'm confused. I want to print on a remote non-NeXT printer that is hanging on another non-NeXT machine on the network. My NeXT is the only NeXT on this particular network. (Worked fine under 0.8.) The netinfod (local) and nibindd daemons are running. I edited printcap to point to the proper remote host for the remote printer. My NeXT is not using any netinfo servers but still won't consult the /etc/hosts table unless I kill nibindd, but then I can't log in. With nibindd running it won't consult this table, or, I suspect /etc/printcap. In the print chooser application the only printer that shows up is the NeXT printer, which I don't want. Get my drift? (Once when I killed nibindd multiple printer options showed up, but it still didn't work.) When we brought up the machine we excised /machines/broadcasthost in the NetManager application. Any help would be appreciated, I want to print some of the extensive documentation. Thanks.
