CLOS is the Common Lisp Object Standard and Common Windows is the Franz product providing a common window interface across a number of different platforms. Will these two componets be included in the Franz lisp available on the NeXT? Will Common Windows be CLOS based? And, will a developer be able to integrate Common Windows within the NeXT Step development environment?

In response to Stumpy: CLOS is the Common Lisp Object Standard and Common Windows is the Franz product providing a common window interface across a number of different platforms. Will these two componets be included in the Franz lisp available on the NeXT? Will Common Windows be CLOS based? And, will a developer be able to integrate Common Windows within the NeXT Step development environment? Franz Inc.'s Allegro CL will include an up to date version of Portable Common Loops (the precursor to a full CLOS implementation). A true CLOS implementation will come in a later release. Allegro Common Windows will not be included. There will be extensive integration between Allegro CL, Objective C and NeXTStep. D.
